About this artwork

In the painting "Frustration," we are confronted with a face seemingly caught in a moment of deep internal conflict. The features are drawn amidst a whirlwind of colorful geometric shapes, creating an impression of disharmony and internal chaos. Yet, within this chaos, an order emerges—each element, seemingly random and disconnected, ultimately fits into the overall picture, forming a unified network of consequences and connections.

The woman's gaze is directed squarely at the viewer, but half of her face dissolves into empty space, thus emphasizing the asymmetry of human emotionality. The ghostliness of the image reflects how events, which seem isolated, are in fact intertwined into a single destiny, hinting at an invisible thread that connects the present to the future and every action to its outcome. This painting is an ode to the complexity of human nature and its unpredictable influence on the course of history.
